Girlfriend Gala is a tablescapes event where women in Etowah County volunteer to decorate a table in an over-the-top way to fit the year's selected theme.
Girlfriend Gala raises money to support Success By 6 and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
The proceeds from the annual Girlfriend Gala and Preview Day enable the United Way to participate in the Imagination Library and have books sent directly to the homes of over 1,400 Etowah County children.
In 20XX, 16,800 books were delivered to the children of Etowah County.
Enrollment in the program is year-round, and a child will typically receive his or her first book within six weeks of signing up for the Success By 6 program.
